In short: this tool allows the exact reproduction of a machine's configuration. It does so by only storing the differences from a default installation of the OS. It is integrated with CVS.

The modules available from CVS are described in the documentation. A graphical summary of how they relate, and how 3rd-party modules may relate to them, is available in EPS and PNG formats.
This software was developed by Yann Dirson, for Logatique, who released the sources under the GNU GPL.
It is being further developed at Alcove.
