SRC (Unity) - a next generation IRC protocol presented in lo-fi for your viewing pleasure |

Hi, I'm jast, also known as Jan Krüger to many people. I am one of the founders of this project.
Anyway, while I was the one who initially got all the people interested
in it, I'm not the one who had the original idea. I took many of my
ideas from the-project.org and
uuuppz's research page on irc3.
I was born in August of 1983 in Germany. I finished school in 2001
and started studying IT in October 2002. There's not a lot you'd want to know
about my real life anyway. I like singing and playing guitar, I used to be a
scout until my studies took up too much of my free time.
Oh, and here's a picture.
I first joined IRC in 1998; I was on Efnet back then since it was the only network I knew. I then found a european network called euIRC, stayed there for quite some time. In 2000, I discovered QuakeNet and liked a lot of it. I did (and still do) quite some work at their forum. Right now, I can be found on QuakeNet, euIRC and my private development server.
You can contact me via mail at jan.krueger (at) rwth (minus) aachen (dot)
de.
You can also find me on IRC, as mentioned above. Do a /msg Q whois #jast on QuakeNet if in doubt.
If you want to read more about my other development projects, visit this page.
This page is far from complete. Come up with nice questions and stuff, and I'll include more info when I can find time for that.
