Downloading FOO

FOO can be found on http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/foo/ [via http] and ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/foo/ [via FTP]. It can also be found on one of our FTP mirrors.

Documentation

FOO documentation can be found at http://www.gnu.org/manual/. You may also find more information about FOO by looking at /usr/doc/foo/ or /usr/local/doc/foo/ or by looking at man pages (man foo at the shell prompt) on your system.

Mailing Lists/Newsgroups

FOO now has two mailing lists: <[email protected]> and <[email protected]>.

The main discussion list is <[email protected]>, and is used to discuss all aspects of FOO, including development and porting.

Announcements about FOO and most other GNU Software are made on <[email protected]>.

There is also a special list used for reporting bugs, <[email protected]>. For details on submitting a bug report, please see the section Report a Bug below.

To subscribe to any FOO mailing list, please send an empty mail with a Subject: header line of just "subscribe" to the relevant -request list. For example, to subscribe yourself to the main list, you would send mail to <[email protected]> with no body and a Subject: header line of just "subscribe".

Currently, there is one newsgroup dedicated to FOO - gnu.foo.

If you would like any new feature to be included in future versions of FOO, please send a request to <[email protected]>.
