Familiar v0.6.1

[Introduction]

Familiar v0.6.1 has now been released. If you find bugs, add them to the FamiliarDistribution wiki page. If you're feeling ambitious, you can report them to Handhelds.org Bugzilla. Here is a handy link for creating a Familiar v0.6.1 bug report if you have trouble deciphering which component to submit a bug report against.

Supports H3100, H3600, H3700, and H3800.

We plan to add Jornada 56x support in v0.7

Although we have begun porting Linux to the H3900, there is nothing ready yet. See H3900 Linux port status page for details.

See the [installation guide] for instructions on installing Familiar on the iPAQ H3600, H3700, or H3800 series. The iPAQ H3900 series is not supported.

[Errata]

• xcalibrate really ought to be run on the very first boot. When you create the first user, run xcalibrate with the 'Record' button.
• Some people report that sometimes their machine will suspend, but will never resume. Have to reboot to recover from that situation. Some people have reported that pressing the power button frantically will resume the machine.
