Why don't you try alt.comp.os.windows-xp, Michele? A lot of XP experts read this forum and I'm sure one of them will be able to help you. That's how I managed to add the Windows Backup Utility to my OEM version of WinXP Home which didn't have it natively.

  Hello, friends: please help me.

I've a strange problem with my winxp installation on a Sony Vaio FX-605.

Strangely enough, for each user different from the user "michele" the
session starts, but screen remains black.
I can notice every typical sound that this computer emits after the user
  login, but screen is black.

I removed the other users and created new, but the problem still
  remains.

  What is happen?
