i grabbed the DOS install of mulinux 13r2, VERY nice. I setup flawlessly
first time around, except picking up my pcmcia slots. They are Cirrus
Logic's which are supported by the pcmcia-cs. I tweaked a little, reboot and
pcmcia was up and working apart from my non-supported card...but X wasn't
working. So i went to work again, this time pcmcia didn't work, and X would
not load either. On 2 occasions of re-installing, it picked up my
pcmcia-slots after a fresh 'install'. I was wondering ... If there is a way
i could actually upgrade the pcmcia-cs to a new version which would support
my slots and card. I grabbed the pcmcia-cs-3.2.1 off SF and started make
installing it, when it asked for a dir straight to the kernel...where the
hell is the kernel ? do i HAVE to zImage it up ? when i 'mu' there is no
such file to do so, so i am actually very clueless. Thanks, if anybody is
out there.
